The Monaro Folk Society encourages musicians and aspiring musicians to develop their skills by sharing their interest with other musicians interested in folk music of all kinds. Opportunities range from individual performance, such as at the Merry Muse; sessions such as Settlers and TNMG; and bands such as The Bush Capital Band, Contraband and the TiN MuGs. New players are welcome at all times.
The Merry Muse has a pre-booking system for performers. For all our other music groups, just turn up!
